So now that the US dollar is the standard currency.. is anyone having problems with menu prices (supposed to be all listed in $$ now, right?) or paying with dollars and getting guilders change?
we are a week away from our trip... started to get things ready and start packing. woo hoo!

Guilders are only good in CURACAO now...

Only USD are being used now. Guilders officially ended here, 1/31/11 (but like Tom states, still usable in CUR, for now). Local law states that prices have to be shown in both USD and ANG (our old guilder/florin money) thru 7/31/11, for reference, to help residents get used to seeing prices in $. This is why you'll see 2 prices on most everything-from stores to menus.
