I failed to mention these 2 restaurants in my earlier report. We stayed at Divi and enjoyed 4 breakfasts at the Calabas. Not only a wonderful view but good breakfast made to order. For those arriving on the Red-eye flights this is good place for breakfast before your check in.

We had 3 dinners and 1 lunch at Chibi Chibi and each was very good. The view at night may be the best on the Island and if you sit upstairs you can watch the night divers in the water. For lunch we had the Caesar Salad with shrimp and it was delicious. We ate various fish dinners and all were well prepared and very tasty.

We stay at the Plaza, but always look forward to a dinner at ChibiChibi! Their waitstaff is always so nice. A couple of years ago we celebrated a special anniversary. they had our table all decorated with flowers and ribbons. Very nice!

Another neat idea I witnessed while there. Chibi Chibi set up a formal dinner at the end of the stone pier for an anniversary dinner. It looked very elegant and is an alternative to Richards pier if it is already booked.

The Chibi Chibi doesn't get a lot of love on this board (it doesn't get bad press, it just gets none!), and i've always liked it, too. I LOVE the gazpacho...it is the perfect food for a hot climate. And the view is great, too.

And I love that warm goat cheese salad with the citrus vinaigrette. Also, what is wrong with that view???

We also have MANY fond memories of meals at Chibi Chibi. I'm glad after all the years it's still there, unlike another personal favorite of years gone by. Dare I mention the name of..."The Green Parrot"?

Oh yes, the warm goat cheese salad is great! A personal favorite, but now gone, was The Swiss Chalet. Those rostis....yum.

[Is the Chibi Chibi at the Divi?]

Indeed so. And it's been there for at least the last 25 years. :)

We stay next door and have been inside the Divi grounds. We'll have to check it out this year.

Marge, you won't be disappointed with either the Chibi-Chibi or Calabas for Breakfast. We also enjoyed the pasta night as the pasta is cooked to order and is delicious.
