sometime last year someone posted comments on here about the high prices they were charged at rose inn. i just wanted to comment that we ate there today and thought the prices were reasonable. there were seven of us so we had seven meals and a bunch of beer (12-15 at least for the group). the total bill was about $100 US. the meals were $12 each and the beers were in the $1.50-2.00 range depending if we had amstels or brites. so the food totaled $84 and the drinks added $15-18. tip was not included so we added that on.

The Rose Inn is a great place but there are other places in Rincon that are just as good, just as welcoming & have more of a local flava.

Antony - your comments have convinced me that I'm going to make sure I get out and explore Rincon when I go back in June. Up to this point, I've only ever driven through or stopped at Rose Inn for lunch. Definitely seems like there is much more to enjoy up there.

on the moment the Polar Bar is closed .. change of management .. and renovations .. another good local restaurant is Verona's and good Chinese snacks and ice cold beer at Fu-kee snack .. all within a block of each other near the fire station..
