On our trip of July 8-15, we had a fun visit with Jane and Marlise and the animals. As volunteers at our local shelter in NJ, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cages and healthy look of the dogs and cats. These folks work very hard and appreciate anything we vacationers can donate to help their efforts. If we were better prepared, we would have brought collars, leashes, and hard rubber toys for the dogs. Anyone who can pack those stacking plastic shelves with small holes in them, like those you can put in a kitchen to store onions or potatoes, please bring them for the kitties to sleep in. They are cozy, washable, and in high demand by the felines.

Thanks, Barbara, for your kind post...it was great to have you visit us. Thank you for all the things you brought, it was very generous and made the critters happy. Just wanted to note that visitors are very welcome...and you don't really have to bring anything...your time spent visiting with our animals is worth a lot to us...and especially to them. Thank you again...hope to see you on your next trip to Bonaire. Jane Madden
