A good blast yesterday (Thur 5th). Morning was flat and a bit shallow but pm was windy and very choppy. I gave up on the 96l iSonic (too uncomfortable) and switched to the 125l Naish Slalom and blasted about the bay at 24.5 knots

Interestingly, in the morning the new 8.2 Redline managed 23.5 knots in 13 knots of wind......

The 8.2 got too big !!! I had to move the footstraps out to the rail to handle the speed and power and eventually changed down to the 7.0. No GPS but 26 - 27 knots was likely. The new Naish Slalom 125 is so civilised at speed and chop. A real old mans board hehehe. Even overhauls iSonics :-) love it......
