After scouring this website for many months in anticipation of our April trip, we just returned from 8 days at Buddy Dive. We had an amazing visit with day-by-day random anecdotes and pictures on our website. 28 Dives / 16 hours bottom time!!

Check it out...hopefully we provided some insight to those of you planning your own first trip!!

All pictures were shot with a simple housing / Canon 720IS / no strobe / CHDK installed!! There was an steep learning curve associated with figuring out the settings even on the tiny point and shoot which I think is pretty obvious in the pictures...

Soon we will upgrade our 5D Mk II with a nice housing....

Great job Beau and Holly, a very pleasant read and some wonderful pictures especially given it was a first time.

Beau the other thing to learn is editing your pictures, it can make a big difference, especially for UW shots. Look here for some hints.

Oh by the way, you both sound hooked on Bonaire, may God have mercy on your checkbook.
