By Jake Richter (Moderator - Post #3941) on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 - 10:04 am: |
(For those wondering what this is all about, it has to do with giving a name to the resident Surgeon Fish at the ReefCam)

By Angela Cristan (BonaireTalker - Post #81) on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 - 11:47 am: |
I'm with Kelly, Dr. Pepper works for male/female so we don't have to worry about offending the poor little boy or girl fishes! We all want to be a pepper, remember?

OK as much as I REALLY liked Dr. Kildair (man, he was so good looking when he was young! ! !) my vote goes to Dr. Pepper. Now I'll be humming "wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too?" all afternoon. If our fish is named Dr. Pepper we could all wish we were peppers too, to be with him (or her?) under the sea in Bonaire every day :-)

Mary Lou, I used to do a small numbers of dives each summer here, but my husband and son do NOT enjoy cold water diving, so we have not for some time now. We were all certified in Kettle Cove in January(s) a number of years ago!!!! brrrrrrrrrr. Once we got a taste of Bonaire they just lost all interest in diving in Maine :-)

Sally I have not personally seen the paddlefish, but I have friends who dive there all the time, they are certified deep deep divers (trimix and all that stuff) and they have both seen it and videotaped it. Very impressive. Maybe I'll see it someday.
